Notes If a Mysterious Camel Figurine that spawns in Deathwing's attack path through Uldum happens to be up, if exposed to Deathwing's Molten Flame , will be destroyed and the timer reset just as if it had been used by a player.

This is because the statuettes are actually classified as NPCs , and presumably the only way they could have a name plate. Patches and hotfixes Hotfix : Mysterious Camel Figurines should again provide the player with the ability to see Dormus. Patch 4. Universal Conquest Wiki. Alliance Horde. This is after finding 10 figurines in approximately 2 weeks. I got really lucky with the second 09 that spawned the dormus encounter.

I think I got the first camel for myself on the fifth figurine and another for a friend on the 7th. Keep looking, they're out there. You can see my pic on the ptr version of the site for the "Camel-Hoarder" title. Comment by Found the actualy working figurine at Schnottz's Landing in a carriage at 1.

Fighting easy as pie, Dormus lvl 85 elite. Keeping the cache uncleared was a good idea thus I knew that the figurine found with the npc scan was the real deal. Good luck everyone looking for it, wish I found it before I went exalted with the faction and buy the other 2 models just in spite:.

Comment by got the mysterious camel figurine 15 times over the course of a month. Comment by Just got my camel finally! After 3 - 4 weeks of camping this guy I finally have it, after my third camel.

The fight was a joke 85 Frost DK. Cheers and keep up the search. Now off to deep holm! Comment by Just bagged my second camel and figured I'd share my strategy which makes hunting this thing way less of a pain. My first time camping, I did the same thing everyone does, random laps at random times. After 5 or so dusts, I started to pick up a pattern.

These figurines seem to spawn on the hour. So my second time around, I only did laps on the hour. I kept my character parked above the Ruins of Ammon and did counter clockwise laps. I didn't go crazy and set my alarm to wake me up or anything, but if I happened to notice the time, I would do a lap.

It took me around a week of doing laps a day on average. I found 6 fakes with the 7th being the real one. Every dust I found was on the hour or close.

The ones that weren't on the hour were because I didn't notice the time and logged on late. I never found one past 20 after. While this isn't a guaranteed method, it will make farming it a whole lot easier. This method isn't fool proof but more or less a good way for a casual to farm the mount.

I've got two mounts this way, so this has to be somewhat effective. Comment by Dreadmight Just got the camel tonight, at about AM server time. Figurine was parked next to the doorway of a small building, just after the 's' in Halls of Origination if you're looking at your map. This was about my 10th camel figure found. Dormus was a breeze, doesn't deal a lot of damage. As a side note, in patch 4. Comment by Ok, so ive been searching for like 2 weeks now and nothing, plus i cant get anything to work and ive cleared my Cache folder also, and still nothing, so what should i do so i can find this thing?

Comment by wowZhenek 18th figurine, dust, taking a piss alraedy. However, after minutes of flying around clicking the warning, hoping it would target the Figurine, it didn't find anything. A couple of seconds later, I found it! It's more so an interactive object that requires you to go up and click on it, with no target available. Kind of like clicking the Teleport Orb in Naxxramas. Comment by NelleRavencrest NPCscan can no longer target and put icon on the Mysterious Camel Figurine - you have to manually go look for it when the alarm pops in an area.

Spend a few minutes flying around spamming the NPCscan popup, and a costom made macro before I figured this out :. Comment by I am now a Camel-Hoarder! Could not have done it without this website. All my spawns were previously established spawns on the minimap. Patch 4. Without npcscan it would literally be impossible now.

My statue had to spawn at ish a. I tried doing the party thing to trade it to a guildy. Dormus does not respawn during the 20 minute debuff timer. Happy Hunting. Comment by wowZhenek 21 figurines, 21th was a camel. I'm chuffed Zhenek Thunderhorn EU. Wasn't targetable by npcscan or target macro and was as intended. Comment by bl4z3 Been trying for hours to find a figurine but nothing.

Anyone got some suggestions on fly routes or anythin? Comment by nater I was very lucky. Clicked on the Mysterious Camel Figurine and wouldn't you know. Spin for 6 seconds and POOF! The fight was simple and took little damage as an sPriest. Now, all may bow to the Camel-Hoarder! Comment by Darkted 15 figurines 15 dusts! And you have people getting the mount in less than 10,sometimes even less than 5!

Pfffff Lady Luck is never on some guys' side. Edit:Make them And i got it on friday 13rd! Spent about 10 minutes today before I found my first Figurine, and behold, I was whisked away by a whirlwind, taken to a far-away place to face an ettin..

Alonsus eu server pm. I had Npcscan which since 4. Got to Dormus on my 7th figurine. No used the map on wowhead along with Npcscan, some good tunes and a lot of patience and voila - people now have to know me as Bedoir the Camel Hoarder. Comment by terminalman Is it possible these figurines are phased so that once you've done a lot of Uldum quests they no longer appear?

Can someone confirm they're visible after doing a lot of quests in Uldum? I've gotten "Unearthing Uldum", which is quests, all the Indy Jones stuff and more. Comment by I can confirm you can get them after completing all of the quests, and that they are no longer targetable.

I hadn't bothered with doing this until this morning, and I spent literally 30 seconds checking the spawn points listed in the graphic at the top of the page before npcscan reported finding the one at Clicked it, and I was whisked away to fight Dormus who is a joke. This may be the least amount of time anybody has invested to get this done, who didn't do it by accident. Comment by BlindRage I found 3 fakes b4 4. Comment by mattsvart Got my 4th fake, today at Overall I had spent about the last two weeks in Uldum camping.

I definitely feel like there is evidence to predict their spawn times, top of the hour and 6 or 12 hrs following previous spawn were almost always observed during my hunt. I created a 2nd Bnet account and several 30 day trial accounts on it. Rolled 4 night elf's, because they get shadowmeld at lv 1 while rogues dont get stealth until level 5.

Ported all 4 nelfs to Theramore then flew them one by one to Uldum and dropped them in mostly hidden places, but made sure they were within range of popular spawn points.

These little helpers only ran NPCscan, I had my main centrally located at either Osiris or Ankehet Fields to be closest to all of them. I only made a flight thru Uldum every hour on the hour, sat idle the rest of the time.

Pics below should help explain. Comment by Mountcrazy I dont know if this is happening for anyone else but on my realm for the past 4 days i have found a camel figurene at Comment by maegdring Just got my camel at the 5th find, found this one at Schnottz's Landing and maybe its a coincidence but all other 4 were the same color and this one was darker, kind of the same color of the mount itself.

Just glad I don't have to look for them anymore, good huntin' yall. Step1 1. Open up TreasureData. Go to Import 3. Now just don't find it before I do. Comment by atjays Technically yes, but you're going to have to think outside the box to do it. Comment by Glalie I've found over 25 "fake" figurines, and still have yet to find a single, Dormus-teleporting one. I'm hoping that it'll finally be my turn to get this thing soon. Comment by I just found a fake one at the Obelisk of the Stars, it was not able to be targeted, and had the graphic of a pile of sand before I even clicked it.

I was still able to click it for the statue remnants. Comment by 3 days and no luck. Not even a fake figurine. Spawn rate must be really low. Comment by Leat Now I know they're not targetable anymore since 4. Does NPC scan still goes off? Does it matter how high you are? I notice some items on the ground phase out after flying up a few yards.

BTW, I've been flying around the spawn points for about a week now hours a day and haven't even found one fake one yet. It just doesn't target it or mark it for you. I got one 2 days ago, was the first one I'd found since I started looking for them a month ago or so. Found a second one the next day, but only the first one was a real teleporting one.

Now to get it on my main. I have not even found a fake one yet. I have the NPCscan and have a flight pattern where the map's spawn points show them. Is it possible that my server does not have them? I also don't recall seeing anyone on my server with the camel. Jerkk 85 Human Paladin. Comment by Nethery Got it finally on my 8th figurine. Found between Schnottz's Landing and Ruins of Ammon at pm.

I was really happy, because I simply cannot find any figurine for 2 days before the real one. Nethery Drak'thul EU. Comment by dehve Blizz seems to have made these untargetable. I guess to make them harder to locate? Comment by 1itay1 I've been farming this for the pass days and i found 5 fakes, though it doesnt seems to have a respawn timer and just rng spawns what i think for example i found a figurine at 8 am server time, at i started looking for another one 6 hours spawn time i was looking for it untill , found nothing.

Comment by Idiott I just found my first one after months of looking. It was a fake my NPCscan went off and Immediately started looking for it.

It was right when I logged into the game when It popped up in Ruins of Ammon Right after I clicked it a Dwarf Hunter dropped down right next to me.. Talk about race for these Figurines. So I don't need to clear my cache because I have not found the 09, is that correct?

Comment by I just found mine in the ruins of ammon. I used the trial account method, in which i created 4 trial accounts and summoned 4 lvl 1 toons to ungoro crater on the edge of uldum, just to avoid any phasing issues , then flew them in with my sandstone drake and dropped them off in various locations where they could watch over 3 or 4 different spawn points from one stationary location up top of something out of the way of mobs.

I then flew around on my mage in a set path using the gathermate coords listed earlier in this forum and an addon called "routes". Comment by Idiott How do you upload the coords with gathermate? I've been trying to figure it out but Can't upload the ones for Mysterious Camel Figurines.

Comment by the directions above that are with the coords are extremely accurate if you followed those you should have no problems also remember to open gathermate in game via the interface and addons section and import data and make sure that treasures is checked before you import.

Comment by vectoria I had someone before camp this thing for over a month before he got it. Soon after I began to look for these damn statues and kept a daily log on dates, spawn points and times. Admittedly, I had a hard time finding data on this thing; and rightfully so, as I soon found out no spawn times are always consistent day to day. This is not to say it wont show up at the same times for a short span of time but there is always variation!

What I found for my data was that when the first camel statue was found in the day 7. It wasn't until the first statue was selected that the timer would "start". I think this is where you get the variation when it comes to the statue respawn times being off sometimes. It took awhile before I realized that there are two statues that spawn in a single day. I didn't assume this until I put it to the test and found a lot of support for this theory.

For eight days it seemed to hold true with one statue spawning in the am hrs and the second in the pm. But, I was nearly thrown off when the times switched and one spawned at pm and the other at 8pm server time. Regardless, the timer being 7. I know it may seem better to keep the real npc id on your scanner and scrap the fake id; but please remember that it's better to keep track of when the real statue may spawn. On a final note, these statues can no longer be targeted!

So please don't use a target marco and get npc scan and clear your cache! Comment by AzerateAeriePeak I can confirm that npc scan indeed does go off.

Got the alarm yesterday while doing archy and unaware that you cant target them anymore i ignored it thinking that someone else found it :. Comment by found him and he is the 14th and its was the fake one ,. Comment by djcase a few corrections should be noted on this post. They should have kept it so you could target it so you have something to do that is fun and entertaining in raid downtime not time consuming and frustrating. Comment by AzerateAeriePeak Found one today by npcscan, couldnt find the actual camel and someone beat me to it, thank god it was fake lol.

This is seriously stupid they made them not targetable. Comment by Drynix Just a threorie I came up with about spawn locations. I think the figurins spawn at the locations where 3 of the same critter type gather.

Like 3 of those desert spiders from time to time stack up close to an object and after that run around again, later regrouping on that same position. I have linked some of these locations to spawn points off the figurines. So it might be related. More testing is needed ofcourse, but it might be possible that the critters show spawnpoints!

Hope others will help testing! Comment by Idiott The Dwarf Hunter I spoke about in an earlier post that I kept running into found it right before me. By the time I found it, I saw him being ported away. Now he's laughing at me in SW. Comment by just got this while farming some elementium ore shadowfocus realm:Alonsus time Comment by AzerateAeriePeak This has been brought before, the 3 critters are not related to the camels. They are just nearly everywhere in Uldum so it often happens they are near the figurine.

Comment by Azaram You don't have to farm for it. It has no effect on the game but a bit of epeen lengthening. Your game will not change if you don't have it. Comment by They can be alone and not next to a rock. Just found one on the platform off the coast.

There are two of them and it was on Comment by Kazmaier epeen's is where its at! Comment by Up to 20 fake figurines now, not found any genuine ones. Comment by I have spent weeks flying around Uldum looking for these damn things. I did make it to Dormus once but died just as I killed him. These devilishly things are so difficult to spot. Well onward and upward,,,. Comment by In the grand scheme of things, i've done some pretty boring things on WoW and this has got to be up there with them.

I've tried keeping to a set flight pattern, a random pattern and just camping in certain areas hoping to get lucky. Well done to all those that have found the figurine that ports you let alone a fake one! I'll keep at it tho and good luck to those who are still trying ;. Comment by Furydeath About a week so far found 0 ether NPCscan doesn't' work any more or they just are never here any more for me.

EDIT: 3rd Armagedillo kill and 0 figurines. Comment by Furydeath I find Deathwing more in uldum then i do finding a Figurine. I'm a little irritated because if you read the posts on this item you would be led to believe while this mount is hard to obtain it isnt really that difficult. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I have done over 50 rounds. My educated guess would be that 1 figurine spawns every hours This could very well be one of the most difficult mounts to obtain in the game atm. Comment by Furydeath Yep if i read it right, 40 some ish spawn spots, only one spawns every 6 hours.

Comment by 1itay1 found it after 10 fakes, i was like this is probably another fake and then it whisked me to him, i was so exciting i turned my camel cig and i smoked like a chimney. Trollbane - EU. Figurine found at Nerfeset AM Gurubashi server time but someone got it before me.

Comment by ZNasty I finally was able to get my camel today and the difference between the statues was noticeable. The duds are in a pile of sand while the one that teleports you is not. I happened to find mine on the roof of a building near the Akhenet Fields.

Don't give up if you haven't found the "winning camel" yet. For those who have been searching for a while just think how much more sweet it will be when you finally get to beat up Dormus the Camel-Hoarder and take his camel all for yourself! Asked what color and not even a few seconds later npcscanner went off for the camel statue, really sucked to find.. And thats proof that two rares can be up in the zone at the same time, some stupid guy killed madexx before I got to him..

NPCscan will still pick up the item, but you have to physically click it to interact with it. This was the dud figurine. The good news is you actually have to hunt again! Game on! Comment by Clinh Found one of these today flying over Neferset in front of a wagon, it turned to dust The figurine was in a corner just to the left of the entrance to the ruins, on its own.

Apon clicking on it I got ported to Feralas where I was met by Dormus who so kindly dropped the Reins of the Grey Riding Camel, pot luck for a first timer so good luck to all of you still looking : If you are also wondering it was Aman'Thul US server, roughly 8.

Comment by As far as I'm concerned, ID is the fake. I've found 5 figurines.. All have been fake, and all were the ID I've looked and I haven't found anything to suggest this is true. I'll update this when I finally get the camel with a video as well. Cheers, and good luck to all who are farming.

Comment by Does anyone know anything about the location next to the Vortex Pinnacle. It seems to be out in the water at 73, Is it floating? Comment by KidGengar I just got my camel about 1 hour ago! I found it at 33,67 at the Ruins of Ammon. I just want to share that the 6 hour spawn time that a lot of people are talking about MIGHT be right on the money.

This could mean that: -A lot of people in my realm are searching for it and someone could have found it before me when I went around. I still suggest if you find it,to check every 6,12 or 24 hours for another one. It is very unlikely it spawns every hour, but if you have the time, then go around each hour. That's what I was doing at first I can't dismiss the fact that I found mine exactly 24 hours after someone reported they found theirs.

It could be a really good coincidence or it could mean it spawns every 24 hours. Good luck to everyone! I asked if someone had found the figurine and they had, they even got the achievement. The person said the found it at pm server. I did a few trip around Uldum today but didn't look at the time and no,I did not come across one. So I started my usual route around Uldum really fast,I check all the spawn points in order starting from Ramkahen and going up towards I found my figurine at exactly pm server.

This was my 4th one so I assumed it was a fake one because I'm just not that lucky, hehe. But it ported me and I nearly had a heart attack. I beat him in like 1 minute. I will be going back to Uldum at 3am server time and will make a quick round to see if I find a figurine to test the theory even further.

I will keep going back every 6 hours. BUT,it is very worth it and almost not so much of a waste! In my opinion, haha. That feeling you get when you're ported out to Feralas after weeks, months,or maybe tons of fake figurines,is very awesome. Comment by Just curious, what's up with a spawn point near the Vortex Pinnacle? Is there a camel figurine that really spawns near there? If so, can anyone tell me where exactly it spawns? Comment by Banishment I got my camel on Lightning's Blade about 30 mins ago.

Found it at Akhenet Fields, freaked out when my NPC scan went off since there was quite a few locations there. Took me about 10 mins of panicking to actually find it. Dormus was an easy fight. I found my only fake yesterday, not long after I finished every Uldum quest. I've looked for days and didn't find any so I was worried it possibly was phased since in certain areas mineral veins disappeared when I got close, but showed up on the map when I backed away.

I guess I've been unlucky through the days I did look and quest without finding any. But questing can probably make looking around less boring. Mining helped me be less bored with my search too. I was getting really irritated that I wasn't even finding fakes though. But glad I had the patience and luck to find it. Now time to hunt for Aeonaxx. Comment by Also, would finishing every quest in Uldum be better in finding these little figurines? Comment by Confirmed spawn at 34,2 Comment by Finally got this after about a week of on and off flying around Uldum.

NPCScan still works to let you know it is nearby. Argent Dawn server; Loc 25,51 tomtom coord I shoulda paused to take a pic of it so folks can see what it looks like. I clicked the figurine after checking that it was '09 that triggered. It was. The whirlwind deposited me in front of Dormus. As an 85 hunter he was pretty easy to take down. Then I looted my reins and rode of into the sunset with 2 new achievements. The Steam Pools area is patterned after a beach resort. There is a small village here with a full cast of NPC's, mainly goblins.

The beach area has every race co-mingling and lounging about. When you arrive here there to fight Dormus there are no NPCs. Only Durmus and lots of camels. The camels are killable but not lootable or skinable. Comment by I've been farming on three characters on different realms using NPC scan and Routes addons.

So far i've found 5 figurines in 2 days and all of them were dust. This way you also gain a lot of BOE blues. Uldum is also a miners paradise :p Good hunting to all Comment by Windler Been searching for these occasionally for a month or so. So far I have found 19 fakes and 0 teleporting ones. I would never attempt to find this one on a more active realm, it is quite bad even on a semi-dead realm. Many people mention 6 hour as an likely minimal re-spawn timer, but I just had two re-spawning 5 hours apart, which is the shortest re-spawn time I have seen.

Anyone experiences even shorter re-spawns? Has anyone witnessed more than one figurine on one lap through the spawn points? Edit: got the real deal at after getting duds at , Was my 20th in total. Comment by felonyskies Found my first figurine today at the Akhenet Feilds.

I didn't realize they were untargetable now and freaked out a little but it was a fake one. Npc scan went off to tell me it was there. I don't think I'll clear my cache so that if it goes off again I know it's the real thing. This is my last world rare drop mount to get lets hope it doesn't take too long! Comment by One week and 9 figurines later, I got the camel. It was definitely worth the time I spent in Uldum. Finally getting the kick the snot out of Dormus felt really good.

To everyone going for this achievement, don't give up. I was losing a lot of faith toward the end, but it eventually paid off. Comment by felonyskies Well one day after finding my first figurine.

I got lucky and found a real one. I didn't clear out my cache so that if it popped up again i would know it was the real one and not a fake. Well npc scan popped up with the real thing at pm server time on Andorhal. I freaked out and didn't get any screen shots but got the mount and the FOS for killing the dude.

Also found the figurine at the Ruins of Ammon. Comment by So i was farming Volatile Air for truegold, when Npcscan anounce that a statue was near me, so i find it and a cyclone appeared and teleport me to Feralas. I've killed Ircus and he dropped the mount. EU Time: h Orsis, Comment by Hi guys, Ive been at this for over a week now and Im just very curious to know if anyone on Kul-Tiras Eu has come across any of these figurines letalone got the mount?

I don't seem to see anyone in the city with this mount yet and all the people who have posted previously with screenies etc have ALL been from a different realm I accept that it might just be because the realm im on has a very high population and this item is a very rare spawn. Comment by Hello folks! I've been hunting the Mysterious Camel Figuring for a good time now and i've collected a total of 17 Crumbled Statue Remnants fingers crossed.

I have already found Aeonaxx after farming for 4 weeks 15 hours a day, so i've been in my share of rare elite hunting. I found the statue several times in the Ruins of Ammon, twice in Orsis and once in the Sunstone Terrace. If there is one thing that I can tell you it is that after 17 statues, there is no reliable spawn percentage or spawn time. Blizzard likes to be very inconspicuous with how they deal out rare-elites.

GL to all who are hunting with me. Comment by am on Thorium Brotherhood on the 15th day in June of Well 31 Mysterious Camel Figurines and 4 months of doing laps around Uldum, I finally killed Dormus and got the reins. I logged in and NPCScan went off before i even moved. Good luck to all who seek this. The title is the best part of this journey because the camel looks just like the rest of them. Comment by StaticLgtBrngr I was sat in Schnotts Landing just now when one of these flashed up thankfully it was the dud as I was unable to target it.

Since I had just started the quests there I am guessing that phasing is responsible as I hit the button instantly and there was no one else around who could have looted it, at least on my phase. Can anyone confirm if these are affected by phasing or not? Would seem so but it would be nice to know for sure. Comment by LiriellGarrosh Just found one in northwest Uldum coordinates NPCScan went off, but I was not able to target the figurine using the macro that someone provided. I couldn't even left click the figurine.

It does, however, have a green name Mysterious Camel Figurine above it that makes it a little noticeable. It was in between some of the lighter green bushes next to a group of 4 palm trees, and my cursor turned into a gold gear when moved over the figurine. Comment by Today I found my third statue or second, Pretty sure third though However, as soon as npcscan went off Deathwing came in and killed the place.
